It is best not to use an application like "Word" because it will embed hidden characters that may not display correctly. Avoid other display problems by selecting for your update notes a font found on the MPSS - Arial, Comic sans, Courier New, Georgia, Impact, Tahoma, Times New Roman, Trebuchet or Verdana
